Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is pleased to announce that the School Choice Late Application Window for the 2026/27 school year opens on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 8 a.m. During this application window, families may apply for school reassignments, Nova schools and magnet programs at schools with available seats.

Important for the Late Application Window:
If a family submitted a 2026/27 School Choice application during the Open Enrollment Window earlier this year, that application remains active throughout the entire School Choice process. This means families do not need to submit another application unless they want to add an additional School Choice option for their child.
How to Apply:
Applications must be submitted through the BCPS Focus Parent Portal. For step-by-step instructions on creating a Parent Portal account, linking students to the account and obtaining a BCPS student number (for students not currently enrolled in BCPS), visit: https://www.browardschools.com/bcps-departments/school-choice123/choiceready.
